My Fellow Readers,
Today, December 6th, 2017, marks six years since I first published.
In that time I’ve watched authors being told that New Adult wasn’t a thing and then have New Adult authors make NYT bestseller lists by self-publishing. I’ve watched authors become overnight successes and some who have gone from their highest highs to lowest lows.
My fellow readers, I’ve seen it all. From the blacklist to the rise of Indies and the fall of so many things that affected authors, readers, and everyone in between.
In these six years, I’ve published thirty-seven stories. Everything from a trilogy about an awkward teen girl that falls in love with an alien to a snowboarder making a bet to win a figure skater during the winter Olympics.
There have been ups like watching The Only Exception hit top 100 in multiple countries, signing with an agent, and getting my first publishing deal.
There have been lows like the failed Fight For You, a former co-author trying to tarnish my name only to ruin herself by stealing money with a fake event, and a lot of crazy emotional moments that happened.
But through it all, a lot of you have stuck by me. Have continued reading my stories and helped to #makereadinggreatagain
